Brand new for 2010 is the Toro 48cm Super Recycler lawnmower – a sturdy aluminum deck machine that promises a much cleaner and quieter performance than its predecessors.

The Super Recycler’s enhanced performance is thanks to its 159cc OHV Toro engine, which features a spin-on oil filter and oil pump lubrication that can extend engine life with proper maintenance. This, together with the mower’s AutoMatic Drive propulsion system, ensures the 48cm Super Recycler cuts grass with all the power, performance and precision you’d expect from a Toro mower.

This new mower also of course boasts Toro’s famed Recycler technology. By chopping grass cuttings into tiny particles and then firing them back into the lawn where they quickly decompose, this clever mower dramatically reduces garden waste while giving a valuable nutrient and moisture boost for a healthier sward.

Time saved collecting and disposing of cuttings also reduces mowing time by up to a third while the Recycle-On-Demand function allows users to switch instantly between Recycler and conventional mowing should you wish to bag or collect cuttings, or the grass is too long for recycling. A generous grass bag also reduces the number of times you need to empty the bag while mowing.

With its 48cm/19in cutting width and single-point height-of-cut adjustment from 2.5 to 10.3cms, the Super Recycler is ideal for medium-sized lawns up to 1,200sq m. Other innovate features include long-life ball-bearing wheels, simple fold-down handles for compact and convenient storage, and a handy washer port that makes cleaning the mower deck even easier.
